St. Louis Ballpark Village, the spot where old Cardinal stadium used to sit, is still nothing more than a vacant lot. But if the weather is right, even a vacant lot can be put to some good use. Like, oh, I don't know... fan propoganda? It's no secret that Cardinals fans have a serious dislike for the Cubbies and in case anyone's forgotten that fact, there's nothing like a huge, snow covered field to make one's message clear.
One has to admire the attention to detail - the even kerning and line spacing and crisp clean letters that suggests maybe Eurostile was the font they were trying to evoke.

Good location, simple and effective messaging, excellent craftsmanship. I give this advertising an "A".
Thanks go out to Kris Wright over at Rogers Townsend for the photo.
