Incredible work from one of Europe's premier 2D/3D animation shops. Passion Pictures is also known for the Sony Bravia Play-Doh bunny spot, the Gorillaz animated music videos (i.e. Feel Good Inc.) and the currently running Samsung "New Species" commercial (you know, the one with the alien hummingbird).
So now Passion Pictures was tapped to produce the opening cinematic for Rock Band's huge new title release: The Beatles. Of course something like this must have a lot of fanfare and hype to push this offering, and Passion Pictures was a perfect pick for the job. The work speaks for itself.
If Passion Pictures found itself busy before, they might as well unplug their phones because the Beatles Rock Band piece is truly a masterpiece that not only shows their talent at imagery but storytelling as well.
