Run for the Stars

St. Louis Science Center is holding it's annual Run for the Stars in Forest Park on Saturday June 6, 2009. The race benefits the Science Center's educational programs. The race is very inclusive offering opportunities for all ages, individuals and groups.

The day of the race, activities for kids will include inflatables, science experiments and access to the Science Center. The 5K wheelchair race kicks off at 7:50 a.m., followed by the 5K run/walk and the 10K run at 8 a.m., then the 1/2 mile Kids Run at 9:30 a.m. All races begin at the Planetarium. Awards will go to overall winners in each category as well as the top three finishers in all age groups.
